20 June 2025. PapaMa turns 95. The first thing I began reading when I woke up today is an article forwarded to me by one of my closest friends , in fact my first friend ever. The fact that this article has been published on PapaMa’s birthday to me is not a random event, no. It is the universe stepping in to heal me through the very principles of health and healing she so strongly believes in. Growing up, we were rarely given allopathy. Stomach ache? Kutjarishta, Flu? Kadha. Skin rash? Aloe vera and neem. Hair problems? hibiscus, bhingraj , japapatti.
So today of all days in the year when an article is published about a potential breakthrough in finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease, I am overwhelmed. This is the universe conspiring. This is her unconditional love for me. I am hopeful and my heart is full.
